  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 South in Bridgeport, overnight Monday-Tuesday, September 30-October 1, 2019.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on multiple bridges along Route 8 southbound in Bridgeport, Monday, October 7, through Friday, November 22, 2019.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that joint and crack sealing work will be performed on various State Routes in the towns of East Hartford, Enfield, Windsor, Bristol, Cromwell, Newington, West Hartford and Glastonbury, Monday, October 7, through Friday, October 25, 2019.

• 9/24/2019 Public Information Meeting Concerning Major Intersection Improvements on Route 6 at North Main Street and Agney Avenue in Plymouth

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) will conduct a public information meeting concerning proposed major intersection improvements on Route 6 at North Main Street and Agney Avenue in Plymouth, on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the Town Hall Community Room, 80 Main Street, Terryville, Connecticut. A design presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a question and answer period immediately following.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an illumination repair project will be performed on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) in Woodbridge and New Haven on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 202 (Litchfield Turnpike) in New Hartford, Tuesday, October 1, through Thursday, October 24, 2019.

• 9/24/2019 Resurfacing Project on Route 32 in Willington

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will continue on a 3.83-mile section of Route 32 in Willington through Friday, November 1, 2019.

• 9/23/2019 Scheduled Closure of Route 14A over Cedar Swamp Brook in Sterling for a Period of Eight Weeks

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closure of Route 14A over Cedar Swamp Brook in Sterling for a period of 8 weeks beginning on September 26, 2019. The closure and detour of traffic is necessary to facilitate construction activities associated with the replacement of Bridge 02132 which carries Route 14A over Cedar Swamp Brook.

• 9/23/2019 Installations and Revisions of Traffic Control Signals in Various Towns

  The Department of Transportation (Department) is developing plans to replace existing traffic control signal equipment with new equipment to meet current Department standards at 10 locations in the cities and/or towns of Berlin, Cheshire, Ellington, and Wethersfield.

• 9/23/2019 Scheduled Nighttime lane closures on I-95 Southbound on the Gold Star Bridge Beginning September 30

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime lane closures on the Gold Star Bridge (southbound) will occur beginning the week of September 30, 2019. The closures are necessary for construction crews to complete final “punch list” items to officially close-out the rehabilitation of the southbound Gold Star Bridge.

• 9/23/2019 Scheduled Lane Closures on Route 34 in Orange

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing scheduled lane closures on Route 34 eastbound and westbound in the vicinity of Wepawaug River in Orange. The roadway will be reduced to one lane in each direction between the hours of 9 PM on Friday September 27th, and 5 AM, Monday September 30, 2019, to allow for concrete roadway slab replacements.

• 9/23/2019 Full Depth Reconstruction, Milling and Paving on South Main Street (Route 177), New Britain Avenue, Mill Road and Main Street (Route 4) in Unionville

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that as part of ongoing roadway construction, full depth road reconstruction followed by milling and paving operations are now beginning on South Main Street (Route 177), New Britain Avenue, Mill Road and Main Street (Route 4). All work is weather dependent.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will continue along a 2.24-mile section of Route 1 in Milford through Friday, October 11, 2019.
