Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 South in Bridgeport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 South in Bridgeport, overnight Monday-Tuesday, September 30-October 1, 2019.

 

The project consists of parapet repairs on the I-95 bridge over Lafayette Boulevard.

 

Work hours will be 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane shifts on I-95 South Exit 27A (Rt.8) off ramp in Bridgeport.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00pm to 5:00am.  (Monday night through Tuesday morning). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
