Intermittent Nighttime Lane Closures on I-84 East and West in West Hartford Beginning in March
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of construction and intermittent nightly lane closures of I-84 east and westbound travel lanes in West Hartford beginning on March 2, 2020, and extending through the 2020 construction season. The intermittent lane closures are necessary as part of the safety and operational improvements project on I-84 in West Hartford.

Rehabilitation of Arrigoni Bridge Approach Spans and Operational Improvements at Saint John’s Square / Main Street Intersection in Middletown and Portland
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of construction for the rehabilitation of the Arrigoni Bridge approach spans carrying Routes 17 and 66 in Middletown and Portland. This project will take place simultaneously with the Saint John’s Square/Main Street intersection operational improvement project in Middletown. Construction is set to begin on or about February 27, 2020.

Route 66 at Natchaug River in Windham Scheduled for One-Day Closure Beginning at 7 AM, February 13, 2020, Until 7 PM, February 13, 2020
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the one-day, daytime closure of Route 66 at the Natchaug River in Windham to facilitate construction activities to replace Bridge 00490. The closures will occur on Thursday, February 13, 2020, beginning at 7 AM, and ending at 7 PM the same day.

Replacement of Boombridge Road Bridge over the Pawcatuck River in North Stonington and Westerly
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of construction on the Boombridge Road Bridge (Bridge 04744), spanning the Pawcatuck River, located in North Stonington, Connecticut and Westerly, Rhode Island. The bridge is owned and maintained by the respective towns.

Eversource Utility Project on Interstate 95 Southbound in Greenwich
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an Eversource utility project on Interstate 95 southbound in Greenwich at the Exit 4 Off-Ramp, will occur nightly from 9 PM to 5 AM, through Friday morning, February 7, 2020. During the work hours, motorists can expect the Interstate 95 southbound Exit 4 off-ramp to be closed.

Rehabilitation of Bridge 01602 Carrying SSR 454 over Indian Hole Brook in Shelton
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Bridge 01602 has been reduced to one lane with alternating one-way traffic to facilitate the start construction to rehabilitate the structure. This lane reduction and traffic pattern will be in effect until the completion of the project, on or about November 16, 2020.

Roadway Lighting Replacement
The Connecticut Department of Transportation's (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans for the replacement of existing high pressure sodium (HPS) type roadway lighting fixtures with new light emitting diode (LED) type fixtures on Interstate 95 in Bridgeport, and the replacement of existing roadway lighting systems on Interstate 91 in New Haven, North Haven and Wallingford, Route 40 in North Haven and Hamden, Route 22 and Route 5 in North Haven, State Road 702 in Wallingford, and Route 25 and Route 111 in Trumbull.
