As of 4PM on December 4, 2015, applications are no longer being accepted for Round 4 of the School Security Competitive Grant Program. Please expect an early 2019 announcement date for Round 4 grantees. Please direct any questions to schoolsecuritygrant@ct.gov.
Application Documents
- Public School Application: This application is for all public schools including (LEAs, RESCs, Publically Endowed Schools and Charter Schools,). This form must be submitted electronically an din hard copy.
- Private School Application: This application is for private schools, including licensed preschool and childcare centers that have received threats. This form must be submitted electronically an din hard copy.
Budget Documents
- Budget Tool: This form is required for all applicants and breaks down the expenses being applied for per school. This form is required to be submitted electronically as an excel document.
Safe Schools Checklist
- Safe Schools Checklist for Multiple Schools: This checklist has been optimized for applicants with multiple schools. This form is required to be submitted electronically as an excel document.
- Safe Schools Checklist for Single Schools: This checklist has been optimized for applicants applying for only one school. If you are applying for more than one school please use the checklist for multiple schools. This form is required to be submitted electronically as an excel document.
Other Supplementary Forms
- Special Match Percentage Form: This form is required for RESCs and Publically Endowed High Schools.
- Section N-Threat Ranking: This form is only required for licensed preschool and childcare centers.
