Testing Listing and Locator Information

United Way 211, in collaboration with the State, maintains a list of all of the testing sites, and ensures that they are posted on 211ct.org/covidtesting. There are a variety of filters and search functions available under “Filter These Results” that can help you find a site that makes sense for you.

When the State of Connecticut advertises testing site information, there are two primary links that are used: ct.gov/coronavirus, and ct.gov/prioritytestingHere’s the difference:

  • The zip code box on the top right corner of ct.gov/coronavirus allows users to type in their zip code, and be directed to a list of testing sites with those nearest them at the top of the list. This list will be inclusive of all of the testing sites in the state – with no filters applied.

  • The zip code box on ct.gov/prioritytesting does the same thing with one exception: it uses the “Priority Testing” filter, which directs users to tests paid for by the state at no cost to the patient – regardless of insurance, regardless of documentation status.

Adding a New Testing Site, or Updating a Listing

If you're adding a new testing site, please fill out this form.

If you need to update a listing, please search for your site on the list. Towards the bottom of each listing you’ll see something that says “See something incorrect? Update this Listing” - please click on the “Update this Listing” link, and enter any changes.

Please know that it’s recommended that you have a 211 account, because it will allow you to post updates to your site immediately, rather than waiting for review by United Way 211 staff.

Filter Options Available on 211

There are a number of filters available to make sure that people can find the type of testing site that they need. By clicking on “Filter These Results” - you can use a variety of filters including:

  • Testing sites open now

  • Testing sites open on specific days

  • Testing sites that serve pediatric patients

  • Testing sites that do not require appointments

  • Testing sites with rapid tests available

  • Priority population (free of charge, no insurance or documentation required) testing sites

Testing Sites with Tests Paid for by the State

In order to ensure that when we say “free testing, regardless of insurance, regardless of documentation status,” no one is directed somewhere where they are asked for insurance or identification, or incurs any charge – we have a “Priority Testing” filter references above. This is only for sites contracted with the State of Connecticut.

Please email United Way 211 at info@ctunitedway.org to ensure your site is included in the filter should your site be contracted with the state
