COVID-19 Vaccinations
The COVID-19 vaccine is here, but it will be some time before it's available to everyone in the state. All of our residents must get the facts about the vaccine - not rumors. You can find promotional resources like videos, and posters on our website here.
Eligible residents can find a vaccination site by visiting ct.gov/covidvaccine, typing their zip code into the top right-hand box, and clicking "GO". Providers should make sure their vaccine clinic information is up-to-date on the clinic list and can find instructions about how to add a new clinic and make updates here.
Volunteer and help recruit volunteers through Step Up CT
You can be a part of Connecticut's response efforts by volunteering, taking a short-term position, or helping the organization recruit staff and volunteers. Opportunities range from mentoring, to delivering food, to taking jobs in nursing home facilities. There are opportunities for anyone who is healthy and has the capacity to volunteer. Learn about opportunities at ct.gov/stepupct, and get more promotional resources here.
COVID Alert CT: Connecticut's Exposure Notification App
The COVID Alert CT is Connecticut's Exposure Notification Application. As many people as possible must activate the app on their phones so that it is as effective as possible. We're counting on everyone's support to spread the word. Get our promotional resources on our dedicated webpage.
Testing for COVID-19
COVID-19 testing is a critical part of Connecticut's response efforts. One critical thing our residents can do is get tested if they have symptoms, live in a densely populated area or a congregate setting, or are in a town experiencing increased cases of COVID-19. If you're a municipality, elected official, testing provider, community-based organization, or anyone who can help promote testing opportunities, please visit our dedicated page for testing promotional resources. This page also includes materials for testing site providers to distribute on site.
Contact Tracing
Contact tracing is a critical part of stopping the spread of COVID-19, but communities need to know about it for it to be effective. Find flyers, videos, and social media assets to support you and your organization in communication with those who need information about contact tracing on our website.
Community Resource Coordinator Program
The Community Resource Coordinator program connects people with programs and services they need to self-isolate or quarantine. These info sheets are designed to provide details about the program to local leaders so they can have more informed conversations with those they serve.
