6/25/2018 State Reports Positive Mosquitoes for West Nile Virus in New Canaan
The State of Connecticut Mosquito Management Program (MMP) announced that mosquitoes trapped in New Canaan on June 19 tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV).
6/3/2018 State Mosquito Monitoring Program Begins Testing for Mosquito-Borne Viral Diseases
"We will trap and test mosquitoes at 91 locations statewide from now until October", said Dr. Philip Armstrong Medical Entomologist at CAES.
