Locally Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan
The Connecticut Department of Transportation in cooperation with regional planning organizations across the state has developed a community planning process for Federal Transit Administration (FTA)-funded transportation of older adults (60+), persons with disabilities and individuals with low incomes. This plan is used to determine how those funds will be spent in Connecticut and is developed through a process that includes representatives of public, private and nonprofit human services transportation providers and participation by the public. At this time the process only covers the three FTA-funded programs described below. For more information, please see our Frequently Asked Questions 2011, our Coordinated Plan and the 2009 Coordinated Plan Update.
