This division encompasses essential support functions within the department's organizational structure.

The division develops and implements the budget and all fiscal functions and serves engineering, construction and maintenance needs.

The division handles all staff human resources and professional development functions: the recruitment, selection, and training of qualified staff, labor relations management with various employee organizations, classification, compensation, in-house promotional examinations, professional development through training and occupational growth opportunity.

The division also administers the management information systems of the department and oversees the food service function.

Correctional Enterprise of Connecticut falls under this Division and offers offenders an opportunity for real-life work experience while producing and marketing items for state and non-profit institutions.
