Osborne Homestead Museum
Holiday Tours and Programs
For several weeks each winter, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's Osborne Homestead Museum is transformed into a holiday showcase. Talented and dedicated garden clubs beautifully decorate all the rooms in this historic homestead. Those that visit at this time of year enjoy the sights and sounds of a traditional holiday celebration during a special guided tour.

Many wonderful clubs and decorators contribute to the holiday festivities. They include: Derby Garden Society, Garden Club of Orange, Long Hill Garden Club, Naugatuck Garden Club, Olde Ripton Garden Club of Shelton, Garden Club of Woodbridge, Jen Plasky, Women Redefining Retirement from Milford, and Ye Olde Kellogg Garden Club. Since the clubs rotate rooms each year to a different theme, the decorations are always new and creative.
