Eligibility

Connecticut artists of all disciplines are eligible to apply for these grants as long as you are:

• at least 18 years of age;  
• a citizen or a permanent legal resident of the United States; 
• a full-time resident of Connecticut for a minimum of one year at the time of application.

During the grant/funding period, you must also remain a Connecticut resident and actively work on the creation of new work.

Applicants, who must be the primary creator of original works of art, will be asked to identify their work in one broad category and up to four general categories.

Please note: Fellowship awards are particularly competitive, and artists are encouraged to apply only when they have created a substantial body of recent work that can be presented professionally.
