What is the Purpose of Reserving a Business Name?
It's possible you may want to secure a business name without officially establishing that business on our record. You can do this by submitting an Application for Reservation of Name form. This will prevent the business name you desire from being taken by anyone else for a period of 120 days from the date of filing with the Secretary of the State. The date of filing counts as day one of your 120 days.
