What is a Business Merger?
A merger is what happens when two or more business entities come together to form one entity. The entity that survives is called the “survivor” and the entities that do not survive are called “merged.” A merger must involve at least one Connecticut (domestic) entity.
No forms are available for these complex types of transactions. Instead, you will need to manuscript a form according to the applicable Connecticut General Statute.
This is a complicated transaction for any business to undergo, and we highly recommend you take legal advice when attempting a merger.
