Attorney General George Jepsen and state Banking Commissioner Howard Pitkin today announced a new public service announcement to draw the public's attention to the services available through the Department of Banking's foreclosure assistance hotline.

The 30-second audio spots were recorded and produced in English and Spanish by professional actors at no cost to the state. These spots will be made available to members of the Connecticut Broadcasters Association as a public service.
"We would like to acknowledge the volunteer services of Miguel Alverez, Jamie MacKenzie, http://www.jamiemackenzie.com, and the Connecticut Broadcasters Association for their efforts to raise public awareness about the hotline and assistance available to callers," the Attorney General and Commissioner Pitkin said.
Assistant Attorney General Joseph Chambers, Finance and Senior Policy Advisor Susan Kinsman assisted the Attorney General with this effort.
