Wednesday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Attends National Health Center Week Event, Celebrates No Kid Hungry Summer Meals Site
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will make remarks at the annual Charter Oak Health Center block party and wellness festival. The event is part of National Health Center Week and will provide health screening and information to residents.
Later, the Lt. Governor will join state and local officials and advocates who created and sustained a Hartford summer meals site through the national No Kid Hungry campaign. The program runs in partnership with End Hunger Connecticut, HUD, USDA, state agencies, and other organizations to provide nutritious meals to children and teens up to 18 years old.
