TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES MAJOR EDUCATION ANNOUNCEMENT;
PARTICIPATES IN CONN. NATIONAL GUARD SEND-OFF CEREMONY
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference at the State Capitol in Hartford to make a major education announcement. He will be joined by Lt. Governor Wyman, Senate President Donald E. Williams, Jr., Speaker of the House Brendan Sharkey, and Department of Education Commissioner Stefan Pryor.
In the evening, Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will participate in the Connecticut National Guard send-off ceremony at the State Armory in Hartford for 70 soldiers of the 143 rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion of Waterbury, who will be deployed to Kuwait to provide personnel, operational and logistical support.
