Tourist Attraction Sign Program for Limited Access Highways

Connecticut offers various facilities and activities providing the public with amusement, historical, cultural, and leisure experiences.  While Connecticut has many sign programs to guide both visitors and residents along its highways, they sometimes need additional assistance locating specific attractions.  The Attraction Sign program is intended to provide a predictable and recognizable system to help direct motorists to nearby attractions.

The Attraction Sign program is administered by the Department of Transportation’s Division of Traffic Engineering.  The program and the signs included in it are subject to all Federal, State, and Municipal regulations.

Attraction signs will not be approved on any parkway.
Gas, food, lodging, and camping are not a part of the Tourist Attraction Sign Program and are part of the Logo program.  For more information on the Logo program please click here.
