VMS Sign Replacements – Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk, Westport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans for the replacement and installation of variable message signs on I-95 and Route 7 in Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk and Westport.

 

The present schedule indicates that the design will be completed in April 2020, with construction anticipated to start in the fall of 2020, assuming acceptance of the project and availability of funding.  This project will be undertaken with 100% federal funds.

 

It is the Department's policy to keep the public informed and involved when such projects are undertaken.  It is important that the community share its concerns with the Department to assist in the project's development.  At this time, it is not anticipated that a public informational meeting will be necessary.
