Tree Removal and Trimming along I-91 in Cromwell and Rocky Hill

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that tree removal and trimming will be performed on I-91 northbound and southbound in Cromwell and Rocky Hill, January 7-30, 2019. Work hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The tree removal and trimming will be performed on I-91 northbound from Exit 21 (Route 372) to Exit 24 (Route 99) and southbound from Exit 24 (Route 99) to Exit 21 in Cromwell and Rocky Hill. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect a closure of the left lane to occur on I-91 northbound from Exit 21 to Exit 24 and I-91 southbound from Exit 24 (Route 99) to Exit 21 in Cromwell and Rocky Hill. Truck-mounted attenuators, traffic control personnel, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
