Surveying, I-95 North and Southbound in West Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on I-95 north and southbound in West Haven.

This work is scheduled to occur on Saturday and Sunday, December 7, and  8, 2019.  This operation will resume on the following two weekends, December 14, and 15 as well as December 21, and 22.

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 north and southbound in West Haven in the vicinity of Exits 43 and 44.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
