Thin Surface Treatment of I-691 Eastbound Ramps at Center Street and Lewis Avenue in Meriden

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a thin surface treatment will be performed on the I-691 Eastbound ramps at Center Street and Lewis Avenue in Meriden, Saturday, August 24, through September 7, 2019.

Motorist can expect detours during the resurfacing of the I-691 Eastbound ramps at Center Street and Lewis Avenue in Meriden. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
