I-91 Charter Oak Bridge Project Motorist Advisory – Scheduled Partial Closure of Reserve Road in Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Reserve Road in Hartford (the portion under the Charter Oak Bridge)  is scheduled to be temporarily closed and detoured beginning at 9:00 PM on Thursday night, October 17, 2019,  until 6:00 AM on Monday, October 21, 2019.  The closure is necessary to facilitate construction activities associated with the project. A detour will be in place to bring travelers to Reserve Road destinations north and south of the closure.

The detour routes are is as follows:

From Reserve Road at Maxim Road intersection

·     Head west on Wawarme Ave.

·     Left onto Locust Street

·     Left onto Airport Road

·     Left onto Brainard Road

·     Right onto Maxim Road

·     Left onto Reserve Road

From Reserve Road at Wawarme Avenue

·     Head south on Reserve Road

·     Right onto Maxim Street

·     Bear left onto Brainard Road

·     Right onto Airport Road

·     Right onto Locust Street

·     Right onto Wawarme Ave.
