Safety Improvements on State Route 602 - Warsaw Street and Main Street - in Deep River and Essex

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project, in the form of new guiderail, will be performed on State Route 602 (Warsaw Street/Main Street) in Deep River and Essex, Monday, December 2, through Monday, December 23, 2019.

This work is being performed by PGP Group, dba Atlas Companies.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on SR 602 from Route 154 in Deep River to Route 80 in Essex.  State traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
