Safety Improvements on Route 9 Southbound in Old Saybrook

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed at Exit 2 of Route 9 Southbound in Old Saybrook, Wednesday and Thursday, November 6 and 7, 2019.

This work is being performed by Total Fence LLC. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect a shoulder closure to occur at this location.  Two (2) crash attenuator vehicles and a signing pattern will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Wednesday – Thursday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
