Safety Improvements I-95 Southbound in Old Lyme

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on I-95 Southbound in Old Lyme on Monday, November 18, 2019.

The project consists of installing an impact attenuator system on I-95 Southbound at the Exit 70 off ramp to Route 156 in Old Lyme.

This work is being performed by Total Fence.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect a shoulder closure to occur at this location.   A signing pattern and two (2) crash attenuator vehicles will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
