Safety Improvements along I-395 in Plainfield and Killingly

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on I-395 northbound and southbound in Plainfield and Killingly, beginning Monday, April 1, 2019.

The project consists of epoxy pavement-marking applications on I-395 Northbound and Southbound from the Plainfield Rest Area to the Putnam Town Line in Plainfield and Killingly.  This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 1, 2019 through Friday, April 12, 2019. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

This moving operation will utilize two (2) state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns to guide motorists through the work zone as needed.  The work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
