Safety Improvement Project along Route 193 in Thompson

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on Route 193 in Thompson on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. The project consists of installing an impact attenuator on Route 193, at mile point 5.33 in Thompson.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect a shoulder closure to occur at this location.  PGP Group, dba Atlas Companies, traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Wednesday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
