Resurfacing Project on Quaddick Town Farm Road - East Putnam Road in Thompson and Putnam

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on a 2.90-mile segment of State Service Route 438 (Quaddick Town Farm Road/ East Putnam Road) in Thompson and Putnam, Wednesday, September 25, through Friday, September 27, 2019.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2019 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on State Service Route 438 from Route 44 in Putnam to the entrance to Quaddick Pond State Park in Thompson.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Wednesday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
