Resurfacing on Route 695 - Governor John Davis Lodge Turnpike - in Plainfield and Killingly

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Service Route 695 (Governor John Davis Lodge Turnpike) in Plainfield and Killingly, Thursday, August 1, through Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
The project consists of resurfacing a 4.46 mile segment of Service Route 695 (Governor John Davis Lodge Turnpike) in Plainfield and Killingly.
No work will be performed on Friday, August 30, 2019, due to the Labor Day holiday.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Service Route 695 (Governor John Davis Lodge Turnpike) from the junction of I-395 in Plainfield to the junction of US 6 in Killingly. Two (2) state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
