Resurfacing on Route 68 - Church Street - in Wallingford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 68 in Wallingford, Sunday, October 20, through Thursday, October 30, 2019.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 5.15 miles of Route 68 in Wallingford. This project is being performed by the Eversource Gas Company under an encroachment permit.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 68 Eastbound between Chapel Street and the Durham Town Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for the milling and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the resurfacing.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
