Resurfacing along Route 159 (East St. South) in Suffield and Windsor Locks

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 3.94-mile segment of Route 159 in Suffield, Tuesday, August 20, through Friday, September 6, 2019. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday).

The second week of paving will be scheduled day work 9/02/19 to 9/06/19. Scheduled hours of day work will be 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday through Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
