Nighttime Resurfacing Project along Route 68, SR 723 & SR 710 in Naugatuck

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 68 (Bridge St), SR 723 (Union St., Golden Ct.) and SR 710 (North Main St.) in Naugatuck, Tuesday, September 3, through Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a combined .98 mile segment of Route 68 from RT 63 to SR 723, SR 723 from North Main St to end SR 723, SR 710 from SR 723 to Hopkin St. in Naugatuck.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures with alternating one-way Traffic on Routes 68, SR 723 & SR 710. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
