Nighttime Resurfacing on Interstate 95 Northbound in Bridgeport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project

will be performed on Interstate 95 northbound in Bridgeport, Sunday, September 29, through Friday, October 11, 2019.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing .48 mile of Interstate 95 northbound at the Bridgeport Harbor overpass (Bridge #00111A) in Bridgeport.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 Northbound between Exit 26 (Wordin Avenue) and Exit 29 (Route 130, Stratford Avenue).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
