Nighttime Resurfacing on I-395 Southbound in Griswold and Lisbon

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on I-395 Southbound in Griswold and Lisbon, Sunday, August 4, through Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 5.67 mile segment of I-395 Southbound in Griswold and Lisbon.  The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Sunday evening, August 4, 2019, through Friday morning, August 9, 2019.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday evening, August 8, 2019, through Wednesday morning, August 28, 2019.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane and shoulder closures to occur on I-395 Southbound from Const. Project #085-142 in Griswold to over Bridge #0281 over the Shetucket River in Lisbon.  Two (2) state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday p.m. – Friday a.m.).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
