Nighttime Resurfacing along Route 69 in Wolcott and Bristol

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 69 in Wolcott and Bristol, Wednesday, July 17, through Tuesday, August 13, 2019. 

 

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.4 mile and a 1.88 mile segment of Route 69 in Wolcott and Bristol.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 69 between the Waterbury town line and the overpass of Mad River in Wolcott and from .02 miles north of North Street to .01 miles north of the northbound junction of Old Wolcott Road in Wolcott and Bristol.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is

7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday)

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
