Nighttime Resurfacing along I-395 in Putnam

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project  will be performed on a 3.8-mile segment of I-395 northbound and southbound in Putnam, Monday, August 12, through Monday, September 30, 2019.

No work will be performed on August 30, to September 3, 2019, due to the Labor Day holiday.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on I-395 Northbound and Southbound from the Killingly Town Line to the Thompson Town Line in Putnam.  Two (2) state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  This is a nighttime project.  The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
