Nighttime Replacement of Bridge Joints on I-95 in North Stonington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge maintenance will be performed on I-95 Northbound and Southbound in North Stonington, Monday, September 30, through Friday, October 11, 2019.

 

This work will consist of the replacement of bridge joints on I-95 Bridges #01815 and #01816 (Route 216 underpass) in North Stonington.

 

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s Bridge Maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surfaces Applications Ltd.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect various lane closure on I-95 Northbound and Southbound in North Stonington between

Exit 92 and Exit 93.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through

the work zone. The hours for this project are from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday-Friday)

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
