Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-84 Westbound in Danbury

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-84 westbound in Danbury, overnight Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17, 2019. Work hours will be 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on the Route Rt. 39 overpass between Exit 6 and Exit 4 in Danbury. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

The center lane will be closed on I-84 WB in Danbury between Exits 6 and 4. The regular work schedule for this project is from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Saturday evening into Sunday morning.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. Local Police and Detour signs will guide motorist through the detour.
