Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along Route 15 in Wallingford and North Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on the Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15) north and south in Wallingford and North Haven, Monday, August 12, through Friday, September 13, 2019.
The project consists of concrete repairs on Bridges #03828, #03829 (Route 40 underpass), Bridge #00787 (Hartford Turnpike underpass), Bridge #00792 (Route 1 underpass) & Bridge #00796 (Yale Avenue underpass) in Wallingford and North Haven.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt.15 North and South between Exit 62 (Dixwell Avenue) and Exit 67 (East Main Street) in Wallingford and North Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 am. (Monday through Thursday evenings)
No lane closures will occur from 6:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 03, 2019, due to the Labor Day holiday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
