Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along Interstate 95 South in Greenwich

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Interstate 95 southbound in Greenwich, Tuesday, July 23, through Friday, August 9, 2019.
The project consists of concrete repairs on I-95 South, Bridge #06015 – the Mianus River overpass – in Greenwich.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 South between Exit 5 (Riverside Old Greenwich) and Exit 4 (Indian Field Rd/Cos Cob) in Greenwich. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday through Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
