Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along I-95 in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 North and South in Milford, Wednesday, September 11, through Friday, October 11, 2019.
The project consists of concrete deck end repairs and asphaltic plug joint installation on the I-95 North and South Bridge #00137 (Metro-North overpass) in Milford.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs being performed by Hammonasset Construction and Dynamic Surface Applications, LTD.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 North and South between Exit 33 (Ferry Blvd.) and Exit 36 (Plains Rd.) in Milford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday through Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
