Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along I-91 Southbound in Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 southbound in Hartford, overnight Tuesday and Wednesday, February 5-6, 2019.
The project consists of bridge maintenance on I-91 southbound, Bridge#3622 (Connecticut Southern Railroad overpass) and Bridge #1469B (SR-598 Westbound and TR-803) in Hartford. This work is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 to the morning of Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorist can expect right and center lane closures on I-91 Southbound between Exit 31 (State Street) and Exit 27 (Airport Road) in Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
