Lane shift for stage 2 construction on I-84 West Exit 54 to Downtown Hartford by way of Founders Bridge

The rehabilitation of Bridge 2367 includes superstructure replacement providing single spans consisting of steel beams with composite reinforced concrete decks. The bridge substructure will be replaced with GRS-IBS abutments.

LANE CLOSURE INFO
The detour routes for the Route 2 West Exit 3 ramp to Darlin Street closure will be as follows:
• I-84 West Exit 56 to Governor Street
• Left onto Governor Street
• Left onto Thomas Street
• Turn right onto Ash Street
• Continue onto East River Drive
• Turn left onto Darlin Street

Motorists traveling on I-84 West will still be able to use Exit 54 to Downtown Hartford. The exit will maintain two lanes of thru traffic.
