Lane Closures Scheduled on I-95 Southbound in Norwalk on Thursday, February 14, for Pavement Markings Installation

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the installation of pavement markings on I-95 southbound in Norwalk will occur on Thursday, February 14. I-95 southbound travel lanes will have the pavement markings restored to delineate four lanes of traffic over the Yankee Doodle Bridge.  The work will be between Exit 16 and Exit 15, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Motorists can expect lane closures while truck-mounted attenuators, traffic control personnel, and signing patterns are utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
