Intersection Improvements on Route 74 and Route 195 near the Tolland Town Green

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work is scheduled to restart on intersection improvements on Route 74 and Route 195 near the Tolland Town Green.  

 The project consists of drainage improvements, and intersection realignments at Old Stafford Road and Route 74, Route 74 and Route 195, as well as Old Post Road and Route 195.  Along with realignment at Route 195 and Old Post Road the intersection will receive new traffic signal equipment. 

DOT Project No. 0142-0149 was awarded to B & W Paving and Landscaping, LLC at a cost of $2,410,878.35 on June 26, 2018 and is scheduled to be completed October 30,2019.

LANE CLOSURE INFO
Route 74 and Route 195 will be impacted between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Old Post Road will be impacted between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. 

Alternating one-way traffic should be expected between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during this phase of work.
