Highway Illumination along Route 8 in Waterbury and Naugatuck

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing Highway Illumination work on Route 8, northbound and southbound between Exits 25 and 36 in Waterbury and Naugatuck on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Work hours will be 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Various lanes will be affected. Crash attenuators will be utilized to guide motorists though the work zone. Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
