Herbicidal Spraying on Various Secondary Routes in Eastern Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an herbicidal spraying project will be performed under various guide rail locations on various secondary routes in various towns in Eastern Connecticut beginning Monday, August 5, 2019.

The project consists of herbicidal spraying on approx. 205 acres.  The work for this project is scheduled to occur on Monday, August 5, 2019, through Friday, August 23, 2019. 

This project is being performed by All Habitat Services.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
