Construction of ADA-Compliant Sidewalk Ramps at I-91 Rest Area in Wallingford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the construction of ADA-compliant concrete sidewalk ramps at the I-91 Rest Area in Wallingford, Monday, August 5, through Friday, September 13, 2019.

 

ADA construction of concrete sidewalk ramps will be performed at the Rest Area in Wallingford.

 This project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, August 5, 2019 through Friday, September 13, 2019.

 

This work is being performed by Laydon Industries, LLC.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect construction activities to occur in the Rest Area in Wallingford.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) No construction activities will occur from 6:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2019.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
