Bridge Maintenance on Route 72 East in New Britain

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Route 72 East from Exit 8 to Exit 9 in New Britain on Saturday, November 23, 2019. Work hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect alternating lane closures during this work. Traffic control personnel, state police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
