New Haven-Hartford-Springfield (NHHS) Rail Program

Construction Update: Town of Windsor

Weekend of September 15 – 18, 2017

Beginning on Friday, September 15th at 6:00 p.m. and continuing through Monday, September 18th at 6:00 p.m. the existing Island Road railroad crossing in Windsor will be closed to through traffic for roadway reconstruction and paving.

Traffic personnel will be in place throughout the duration of the road closure. Signs, variable message boards and detour routes alerting the public of the closure will be posted on-site prior to the closure.

There will be construction noise throughout this period and temporary lighting to support overnight work in the area.
